This site is a tribute to Jim Dakin. He is much loved and will always be remembered.

A celebration of Jim's life

The funeral service for Jim will be held at Cannock Chase Crematorium on Thursday 25th April 2024 at 11:30 AM followed by a reception at The Nelson Inn. The addresses for both venues can be found below. The family request anyone wishing to attend to wear traditional funeral attire.

The service will be live streamed and downloadable for 28 days for anyone unable to attend the service in person, the details for which are:

Never a dull moment ,we always had a laugh and a joke or two ,will miss these times but will always remember them with a smile

Big Jim, sadly missed. Sharing a badly cooked steak on the BBQ will never be the same again. We drank, we ate, we laughed and always made more friends. Truly a Big Man who has left us with some wonderful Big memories. You are very missed, but your memories live on... ❤️

The times and journeys we have shared. We will take a pause to reflect on all we did together the fun and laughs we had, now mixed with sadness with the loss of a pal always in our thoughts.
